I need to expand on my previous post. Also, every time I look at these here, in the phots here, Amazon and etc., the colors never seem to be the same. Yes, I do believe that everyone's white balance settings on their cameras is different and also, probably wrong. Yes, this bothers me. I do want a set of these keycaps, maybe even two with the Mitocorn. It would be a huge bummer to open a box and discover a blue that makes me go, meh.
(typed on my shiny new, purple CTRL with GMK keycaps. It's been ages and I had forgotten how much I like GMK profile. - recommended)
Every time I look at these, which is often, the blue just keeps looking better.
I do wish they were of a uniform size. I think I am getting over keycap shapes that have distinct differences between rows. Yea, I am typing this on MT3 keys - and I like them lots. I just need a change. Know what I mean?
For the sake of clarification, we want to communicate that we renamed our DCP keycap set to DCD, short for Drop Cylindrical Dye-Sub. Our DCP production line (now called DCD) strives to deliver designer-made, smoothly textured, thick and durable dye-sublimated PBT keycaps to the community with great in-stock availability and versatile kitting. We decided to make this change in order to keep our keycap set production lines naming convention consistent and straightforward.
If you are a keycap set designer and would like to offer your ideas using our DCD line, please reach out to community@drop.com with your ideas, and we will get back to you!
