Nice Dark Red in Person
Looks a tad darker in person, but could just be the lighting. Good quality for the price and matches well with Drop DCX Garnet Keycap Set.

Quality desk mat, a little overpriced
I got the Seigaiha Red Gradient on sale for $29. No big surprises here-- the quality is about what you'd expect, pretty nice and I had no trouble getting it to lay flat, didn't even need to weigh it down or anything. The design is exactly as you see it in the picture, print is of high quality and looks great. Instead of coming in just a box or plastic bag like lots of deskmats do, this one comes in a nice thick cardboard tube that I use to store this when I'm not using it. Very nice touch. The edges are pretty standard, except that I could see the dye kinda fading on the very edge (see pic). Doesn't bother me too much but I don't see that on my cheaper deskmats. Also, for a more expensive option, it would have been nice to see some stronger reinforcement to prevent fraying. There is a thicker stitch at the edge like lots of deskmats, but it doesn't look like it would take much to have it fray. When this happens for any of my mats, I just use a lighter to get rid of/reinforce the frayed bits individually.

Another Great Deskmat
I bought the Seigaiha Blue model:

The pattern is more noticeable up close than at a distance, so it sort of comes more into focus the closer you get. Grain has a nice balanced texture, feels a touch faster E/W than N/S for those who care about that sort of thing. If I'm picking at nits, the one thing I'd like to see improved is dye along the outer edge-stitching as it's observably white near the bottom-most edges in areas, but not in a way that's distracting or noticeable unless you're heavily reclined in your chair. At around $30, I'd like to see that improved over time, but everything else about the mat is solid. Also I'm a sample size of one, so take my impressions with a grain of salt for now.
