in my opinion, most premium boards at this predicted price range ($200-$350) will not have bluetooth or wireless capabilities.
i believe it is because the battery pack can comprise the internal metal weights and other internal designs.
Qwervyindeed. I can think of two right off the top of my head that are below the sense75's price point and have BT PCBs...
edit: not intending to take away from the sense75 here. its not the board for me for a number of reasons, but drop has been pretty good to me through the years so i hope there is still a good market of people out there for this board.
sebreyoneNot to take away from this, but wanted to add: QMK doesn’t support modern versions of Bluetooth and so keyboards can’t have both QMK/VIA support and Bluetooth, at least not without the Bluetooth just not working if you were to flash your own firmware.
their are other firmware alternatives that do have Bluetooth baked in but those aren’t as popular or as versatile. There’s also manufacturers that promise QMK/VIA support in their Bluetooth keyboards (*cough*keychron*cough*) who straight up never deliver on it.
sietaiI was going remain coy about the boards I had in mind, but I'm going to mention them now anyway to make the point: both the zoom65 and ikki68(tromso) PCBs are BT and have full VIA support.
meatbunI looked into it a bit more and turns out there’s a very small handful of MCUs with Bluetooth support. I assume there’s still some licensing issue that continue to make it difficult. I can’t find any information about the Zoom65’s implementation https://propairing.com/does-qmk-support-bluetooth/

meatbunThe PCB for the Command 65 that just had a group buy is GMK/Via-compatible, and supports Bluetooth as well.
