This is my second Drop-branded keyboard and the quality is excellent. My only issue is that it’s designed such that screw-mounted stabilizers do not fit on one side of the spacebar. There’s plenty of room, just a strut in the wrong place.
I can tell this is a nice keyboard, however the 't' key wasn't functioning out-of-box no matter what switches I put into it, even after driver reinstalls and trying it on other PCs. The board itself looks totally fine out of the box, and the box wasn't obviously damaged.
This is sadly the second custom-built keyboard I've ordered (first from this brand) that has had a key broken out of the box and I'm giving up on building a keyboard for the time being.
Normally, I would've asked for a refund / return, but I am well past the 30-day mark (I had ordered this as a present to myself a month or two in advance after it dropped and hadn't even opened it till after the 30-day mark)
I'm hoping this is a one-off issue with this board and I would still say give it a shot. It just didn't work out for me :/
Great keyboard - Make sure you pay attention to layout
Love the keyboard - Planning to purchase another one just like it for work. If you are newer to interchanging keyboard parts, pay attention to the fact that this is not a 'standard' keyboard layout - the 1800 layout has a lot to recommend it, but you will need to pay attention when purchasing keycaps to confirm they are compatible.
Haven't used it much yet but seems high quality. They really try to save space so it was a little tricky to find the best keycaps in the spots on the right. Need to make some custom configurations on the keys still but instructions look easy to follow.
