Here at Drop, where the Shinai is used for typing, our martial art takes place on a mat—a desk mat, that is. Following the success of our leaf-green and chute-beige Shinai Keyboard, we decided to expand our bamboo forest out to an accessory made for comfort and soothing style. Finished with Mercerized low-friction fabric in a serene green color to match our Shinai Keyboard, this mat is both ultra-soft and water-repellant. Thankfully, the bamboo sprouts growing near its base are purely artwork, so no watering is required. On the underside, you’ll find eco-friendly, anti-slip rubber for steadfast stability—perfect for keeping all 4 square feet (and 4-millimeter thickness) in place, no matter how you use your Shinai.
