Immediately my fingers are tripping up on these keycaps vs Cherry profile. They feel excellent and I am happy about them, but the adjustment needed for typing is frustrating. The heigh difference is noticeable when placing them on the board which requires your fingers to lift higher when typing fast as to not snag the higher sides of the caps. Not sure how long these will stay on my board unless my hands adjust easily. Would recommend if you do not type a lot or are open to change in that regard.
I used these for a few months and no real issues. I have since found out that I prefer smooth not textured keycaps - like the ones I was taught on via IBM Selectric. These switches are textured but not too bad at all if you are used to that. I did like the colors and how I could backlight them.
The keyboard is very bright, the PBT material feels very good. This is a good set if you get it on sale!
Reason for not giving it 5 stars: There are no Mac keys included in the set (hopefully can add two option and command keys in the future revision), and the spacebar has a hollow-ish sound to it.
Great keycaps for the cost. I got mine for $19 and have absolutely no complaints. They obviously aren't the best keycaps out there bet are stellar for $19.
Not the best set I've tried (compared to like GMK or DCX) but for the price (especially if on sale), its a great set for a budget board and you probably wont find anything better.
They don't feel cheap and are a lot better than keycaps you would find on amazon. I do wish they had a little more layout support, but I love the set regardless.
I picked up this set for $19 and love the feel, but the quality control with the lettering and translucency on the darker keys leaves a lot to be desired. Get them for cheap while you can, get something else after!
