Look, no $45 PBT keycap set is going to compete with GMK sets or the sort. If you know what you're buying these are actually a fantastic deal. Fits better than the keycaps that actually came with my board, so thumbs up there. Overall a great deal, therefore the 5 stars.
Wanted these for the shine through, PBT feels great and the sound's nice. Didn't find any blemishes on the keys, the underside isn't the prettiest in some of these along the edges. Legends are sharp, super crisp.
My only gripe is the uneven shine, most noticeable with white light. Some keys have the white LED come through clearly, while on others it's a bit muddled, with a tinge of color from the keycap instead of mostly white. Some of the light also bleeds through the keys outside the legends, with it being the worst on the W, being very apparent on max brightness.
They don't feel cheap and are a lot better than keycaps you would find on amazon. I do wish they had a little more layout support, but I love the set regardless.
I picked up this set for $19 and love the feel, but the quality control with the lettering and translucency on the darker keys leaves a lot to be desired. Get them for cheap while you can, get something else after!
Simple but stylish RGB pass through legend is great for color matching the rest of your setup, not much more to say really, they get the job done and have good enough build quality for the price.
All things considered, if you're looking for RGB, this is it.
These, for what they are, are impossible to beat.
I could not find a better option for shine through keycaps. They're in PBT and have a great texture to them. The shine through is perfect. They're really decently priced. But most importantly, they DON'T have the cheesy gamer font on the legends that we see plague most RGB-centric keycaps.
Really good keycaps. Bought them for my K65 Plus Wireless 75% keyboard to replace the standard keycaps. Really wanted nice keycaps that had a translucent font so I had improved legibility when while gaming in the dark.
My only main gripe is that, for this 75% keyboard there are no keycaps for smaller alt, function, and ctrl keys located around the arrow keys. I guess based off other reviews the 1 unit sized keycaps, which was super disappointing.
Definitely worth it for a full size keyboard. Maybe not worth it for smaller sizes with 1 unit alt, function and control keys.
I attached them to my varmillo keyboard and they are great. The spacebar didn't fit but I'm replacing that cap with something better anyways. Something to consider if you plan on doing the same 👍
