You say it adheres closely to the Harman Target. Do you have Harman-compliant GRAS 45CA measurements to confirm this? Can't expect people to just buy based on that without backing it up.
Measurements are coming. Hopefully live today.
To be clear though, we are not saying the Signature X adheres closely to the Harman curve. This is what we're saying:
A variation of Ultrasone’s popular Signature Series Pulse Headphones—designed for DJs, with a sound signature that closely adheres to the bass-emphasized Harman Target Curve—the Signature X keeps its predecessors bass-centric identity, with a new tuning that adds energy to other key areas of the frequency spectrum.
The cables they come with are single ended, but a locking balanced cable will be available from Ultrasone at a later date. *edited to add that a balanced cable is included in the box,*
The Signature X comes with three single-ended cables… and it’s easy to drive (high sensitivity), so it will sound plenty loud and good from most 3.5mm connectors, as long as your amp/dongle doesn’t have high common-mode noise. Sounds good from both my HiBy R6 Pro and Apple dongle’s 3.5mm jack… just a bit cleaner and more organic on the HiBy (which has a nicer DAC and amp).
You may be interested to know, I just tested that the TRRS (4-pole) Sennheiser HD 560S and HD 599 twist-lock cables work with the Ultrasone Signature X. The Ultrasone cable has thicker insulation, which is mildly interesting.
1st off I currently have & listen and use religiously the "V-MODA Crossfade 3". Those are awesome by my standards. No audiophile. ????lol! I listen to metal, punk, Hardcore. Good stuff. If These have A quality loudness that doesn't break and A sound spectrum that is par. Somebody that has these and isn't gonna nit pic about stuff nobody cares about and knows quality sounds without being a dork please respond.
No graph shown supporting the bass performance, sure to be present tho, if you are looking for that.
Yes, it would be a move up from the “V”.
The HD 58X will do this for less money.
