Quality of this Dan Durston tent is outstanding!
I bought the X-Mid 2p tent in preparation for my first ever thru hike on the A/T in 2021. I’ve done a ton of research before choosing it and very happy with how easy it was to set up. Still have some work to do to get it tightened up.
Can’t beat the price for how light and roomy it is. Also, I appreciate how Dan Durston personally answered some of my questions and offered solutions for using the inside without the fly on it. Only request I have is the tent came with 8 titanium stakes but I wish it had 2 more. Gonna use it next month in western Carolina mtns. If you look close I actually used 2 drivers at trekking poles!

Feruke1The stock guyline on this is 1.5mm which is fine for normal use but can slip or break in high winds. So a 2.0 - 2.5mm line is better. This is nice line here:
