Man, I do want these keycaps but spending 50% of the cost of a brand new board seems crazy to me. Why are these keycaps so expensive? The $30 Tai-Hao PBT keycaps are at the right price, what gives?

g3m1n1From this thread, appears it's mostly the drive of a rare key set rather than the overall quality. Either way, it's a nice set and I'm still tempted to buy.

rfreibergerI hear ya, and I'm still quite tempted. It's just that price point is hard to look past. $80 for key caps, no matter how nostalgic, just doesn't fit my budget.
