f22lukeYeah it's fine and I don't really mind. It's just a pet peeve of mine when people frame their statements in contradiction to the message. All that had to be said was: "Want to update the drop. Spoke with the manufacturer and they send their thanks and excitement. Current ship date from manufacturer is XYZ. That's placing delivery somewhat outside the original estimate but we're pumped about these amazing boards being everything you dreamed". You don't need to use cognitive dissonance to maintain positivity while delivering less than perfect news.
