Real nice silent tactile, especially when on sale. Great tactile bump similar to BobaU4Ts. Little to no stem wobble. They do produce a slight scratchy sound when depressed slowly, but this motion os unlikely to occur frequently without intention. Also, the plastic bag they arrive is slightly better than the unfortunate standard by being sealed with a bit of air.
Firm and tactile, with a very quiet sound even when bottomed out
I'm someone who doesn't care much about how my keyboard sounds, except that they make as little sound as possible.
The shrimps are very very good at that. There is some occasional scratchiness though, but it isn't enough to bother me.
These are not completely silent, but they are noticeably much more silent than regular key switches. The main reason I did not give 5 stars is the tactile feedback. It feels like a membrane keyboard with more travel and not like a regular mechanical switch. However, the motion is quite smooth.
There's not much I can say to describe how these feel besides being smooth and enjoyable to type on. I don't think I will use these in any of my builds, but they are nice to have around in case I would like to use them in the future.
Sound and feel of these switches is substantially different than 'normal' tactile switches. While they are just a little scratchy, the bottom-out is soft and satisfying. I find these especially useful for larger keycaps and/or ones that use stabilizers. If you construct a keyboard for late-night typing, I recommend these Silent Shrimps!
I use these on a qk 100 that I brought to the office. I will say they were very pongy our of the box, but it's not terribly noticeable when you get the board fully assembled. They feel and sound great and are very quiet.
