oceanmoon449It matters if you are an Apple and Linux only user. Gen2 did away with the ability to set the date and time and sync to wifi from the base unit menu. So anyone without a Win10+ computer cannot make use of these Gen2 devices.
The Eleksmaker branding is not removable, but it could be covered up because the labeling is flush with the rest of the surface.
