I have been using this product for a couple of months now, and have some major issues with it. I would recommend checking other vendors and websites for alternatives, and picking this only if it matches certain aesthetics you're going for, or you only need it for USB connectivity for peripherals. Note the total power available is very low, and not comparable to any standalone chargers, let alone one that can fast charge.
I am trying to use this hub as a central hub to plug in all my peripherals as well as cables that help charge my keyboard or mouse. The available power on this unit is pretty mediocre, and often fails to charge devices properly. It basically functions as a trickle charger, so if you want to use this to primarily charge your phone / tablet etc, it is a bad bet. But if you like to leave things plugged in like a wireless mouse / headphone set, then it will do the job overnight. It frequently cuts out USB power / has a bad power management setup, so I will sometimes come bact to see that my devices aren't charging even though the cables are connected and the switches are correctly turned on. At this point, I only use the charging capabilities for things where time taken for 0-100% charging is of no consequence / can be over an entire day.
If you use a usb plugged into the wall it can fast charge and all the other things people don't get. Just get one with 100W and a few amps, 4amps in mine. Only down side I have is USB C speed, I know, before I blame the hub, it could be my pc that's choking the speed. I love it so much I have one for all my pc's "3" now. I'm waiting on the 8 bay to come out with usb -c in and out. Two usb -c out with one in.
As a lot of other reviews have noted, this little unit it pretty good. but could be GREAT! im cool with the build quality and everything, but i just wish it was fast charging. if it acted as a switch as well it would be perfect!
Everything about this is almost great, but not quite. Build quality is good but things like the switches aren't even close to being centered leave something to be desired. There are multiple charging sockets but none high speed or USB C. The display is nice but there aren't any options to slow down the sampling and not make it so frantic.
customizable options built in such as color of LEDs. switches are fun to toggle on/off. small OLED display adds to the overall aesthetics. so badass I bought another one for second pc setup.
Works as advertised, though I would have preferred a higher power output for this. I did buy it more as an awesome looking USB hub for my PC though, and it delivers that in spades. The charging convenience is more of a bonus!
Great features, works as advertised but just kind of underwhelming with the amt of power it delivers. I should've read the output so that prob my fault.
