Despite being a clock, this for some reason doesn't work properly with summer/winter time causing it to display inaccurate time for the areas that uses this. How was this overlooked? IT'S A CLOCK, FFS!
Since I had the hardware I figure I would try to make my router give it the correct time through an NTP server with an offset, but it just disregards that and uses the wrong time regardless. You can disable NTP but then you have to twice a year go and update it, which you shouldn't have to when this is that expensive and there has been technology to solve long time ago.
Until they come around to patching the issues with summer and winter time, I cannot recommend this to anyone. This is just a bad product, buy a cheaper clock at amazon or something and it works better than this.
Seems it is only compatible with Windows systems, I'm an Apple guy, however there was no indication of this in the listing. When I contacted "support" they sent me a return authorization. So, back it goes. I sent it and am waiting for refund?
BTW, it looked beautiful, and if it worked, would have been a nice distraction or, at least, a conversation piece. Ah well ya can't win 'em all.
The quality of this hardware of the clock is cheap and the tubes are not secured or fastened at all. The software is just as bad the clock will freeze easily and you will have to unplug the clock and plug it back in to unfreeze it. The best part is this is a third party seller so no return if you don’t like the product. In my opinion don’t waste your time and money on this.
