. I used this about a year and a half ago in the Adirondacks. I really don't have any complaints. The only reason I stopped using it is because I've become obsessed with hammocks.

mdaz75@mdaz75: Is that Indian Falls in the High Peaks? I'm fairly certain it is... The DEC has prohibited camping there to protect the area. It's at a higher elevation and the ecosystem isn't well suited to withstanding camping impacts. The area was muddy mess when camping was still allowed there in the 70's. Camping is also prohibited within 150 feet of any water source (except at designated sites) to protect water quality.

DSettahrYup, it's Indian falls. I camped there a couple years ago with special permission. It's the one camp spot I'll never forget!
