*UPDATE* everything below in my previous review holds true. However, I’ve noticed something after more use. Specifically, several keys have started to develop a very unpleasant pingy/crunchy sound. I assume that it’s the leaf of each switch which is causing this, as I tried spring swapping to no avail. This happened on heavily used keys A, D, F, SPACE, TAB, CAPS LOCK, and SHIFT. As such, I’m revising my review to a 3/5 from 5/5. They’re still super unique and super sharp! But there seem to be some wear in issues (which I haven’t experienced with other heavily used switches).
These are super tactile switches. Of the tactiles I own, here's their ranking from most tactile to least:
Durock POM T1 Sunflower (Sharpest tactile bump almost to the point of discomfort, with a oddly dissatisfying sound)
Everglide Dark Jade Black (Perfect sharp tactile bump, with a more pleasant clacky sound than POM T1s)
Zealios (Similar tactility to Dark Jades, but with a worse sound imo)
Boba U4Ts (Sharp tactile bump which is ever so slightly less than the Dark Jades, and a unique deep sound)
Holy Pandas (The perfect round bump tactile, with a super unique poppy clack sound)
Naevys (A very round bump to the point where I can sometimes mistaken it as a linear when typing fast, with a slightly thocky tone)
Personally, this is one tactile that I would highly recommend for people looking for a sharp tactile switch with a clacky tone. If you want strong tactility with a deeper tone, go for U4Ts. And if you want a very unique switch go for HPs (honestly like nothing else in my collection).
InkudaKind of? The best way I can describe it is, the Everglide has a very sharp bump, that ends immediately. The T1 has a slightly less sharp and longer bump, and feels a bit heavier to press down. Like I mentioned though, I prefer the very sharper bump of the Everglides, because it's easier to type on for a while.
