I doubt your monitors do anything at 136dB SPL peak, let alone at 35Hz.

They're three ways, so yes they do maintain 35. However not a 136db SPL peak (obviously), as they're just $1k ea nearfields...so they were not designed to. Doesn't make it any less sad that this sub only goes down to 38hz.
