I got a 50L Dark Grey from the last drop. It's absolutely beautiful. The leather is thick and supple, and the fabric is stunning. Got complimented by my really outdoorsy friend on how thick the material is. However it's too big for TSA. Go for the 30L if you want to take it on a plane.

KyleStyleThanks, I had a feeling 50L is too big for carry-on. I wanted gray though but it really serves me no purpose if I can't carry on. so I'll be releasing in a moment to anyone paying attention.....

KyleStyleTSA didn't bat an eyelash at my bag. The size was also perfect for overhead compartments. The bag is in general not that big, I dont see why they gave you any trouble.

sprk1They haven't; I just checked the common dimensions allowed for airlines, and they're slightly too big. Since it's a duffel, though, they have a good chance of passing through anyway, as you mentioned.

KyleStyleInteresting. I boarded a total of 7 planes in the last 6 months and got not even a glance at the bag. Nevertheless it's good to know it's too big, even though in my experience its exactly the right size for the overhead compartments. With the suitcase carryons that people take on board it would be incredible that they should send you back to check it.

sprk1This is very comforting to know. I don't expect to fly often, but it's something good to keep in mind.
