CalebcanNot in this version. I would recommend waiting for the kanken 13 cause that one has a padded area for your laptop and padded straps for your shoulders. If you plan on carrying a lot of heavy books or your laptop with a few heavy books this bag isn't going to offer the best support for your shoulders. This version of the bag is for more lighter items like a change of clothes and your lunch with one or two notebooks. Or just your laptop (in a protective sleeve) and maybe a pencil bag. Anything heavier will strain your shoulders cause those straps are super thin and dig in :/
