This is likely to be my first and last experience with Massdrop. Waiting a month+ for something to ship makes me feel like I ordered something out of the Sears catalog and it's 1985.

stevehsuWell, Massdrop doesn't exactly have a reputation for the fastest shipping for buying stuff online, it's quite the opposite. It's essentially a tradeoff between shipping time and price. Your choice. If you can't wait then feel free to spend a little more to get what you want quicker. Massdrop isn't for everyone, especially for people who need something urgently.

JefffaI think if they provided a better approximation of total time from purchase to receiving the item it wouldn't be as frustrating. Why not have the items on hand before starting the drop? Theres always additional people requesting the items, I doubt they would have trouble with overstock.

Jefffa@Jefffa, I understand the premise by which Massdrop works, but the stated estimated date of delivery was September 18th. That's a poor estimate and it set the expectation that lead to my post. Also, in the intervening weeks, I've browsed the site and many of the drops are redundant, repetitive, or just bad "deals". There's no urgency on my end, but I do have expectations set by Massdrop itself. I don't think that's unreasonable.
