blade626Do you know that? They don't appear to be. The radius, designed by Denis Simonutti, was Fox knives, a different company. Creating a company named Fox Edge and using someone who designed a Fox Knives knife really looks like they are trying to give the impression that it is the same company. They will get a free ride to some degree based on the reputation of fox knives - it's a cheap trick. https://www.foxcutlery.com/n/en/c/1gy1p61/fox_group.html
KizerI don't usually ever comment, but I actually work for Fox Americas which is part of the Fox Knife group out of Italy. They own Fox Knives, Black Fox, FoxEdge, FKMD, Defcon 5, and collaborate on MKM. FoxEdge knives are good price point knives that are designed and approved by the Fox Italy team. We are certainly not trying to use a "cheap trick", but do want the customers to be aware that our same award-winning designers, and product team are working on these knives. I hope this clarifies everything.
blade626Thanks for your input. I was searching everywhere to find any info about the Fox Edge brand with no luck! Now It's getting clear when someone working for Fox Group stating this but still in the comments here some believed it to be a Fox Knives and it was why I put a note and also it would be good if there would be some information about it on the FK site. Böker also runs four brands in four different class and price ranges but you can find those information easily.
cammelionThanks for your reply. I agree it is best if you can find the information you are looking for online. Because the FoxEdge brand and Atrax knife are so new, there isn't really any information available on the Fox website, but it will be coming soon. Thanks for your interest in these cool new knives. Watch the Fox website for more new FoxEdge products in the near future.
KizerAs I mentioned this brand is very new. It will be added to the website soon. Right now Italy doesn't have inventory on the new brand (the first shipment came to the US) and so they haven't put them up on their website. There will also be a Fox Americas website soon, where you can see knives available in the US. :) I will update this post when the knives are added to the Fox site.
blade626After receiving my knife today, I'm pleased to confirm what @blade626 has been saying here. The documentation included with the knife links to http://foxknivesamericas.com/, which is mostly just a placeholder for the moment, but it has all of the same Fox branding you see at https://www.foxcutlery.com/. I'm very pleased with this budget knife, and knowing it came from a reputable manufacturer is a plus.
