Just as a note for future purchasers, if this Massdrop happens again. One thing the pictures don't show is exactly how purple the paper is in the journal. It was quite a surprise. That aside, the journals are of excellent quality, the paper is very smooth, and I'd buy them again.. I just wish I'd known about the color of the paper ahead of time.
WinterForgeThey do have a purple tint, don't they. What bothers me more are the quality control issues. I found that the purple tint varies from one notebook to the other; one of my checkered notebooks is almost snow white, the other noticeably purple and the dot-grid an outright neon sign. What's worse, in all three notebooks, I found pages with creases in them and others punched through. The paper is fountain pen friendly, but not nearly as good as Fabriano or Clairefontaine paper. I like the styling and binding, but with the quality control issues, I don't think I'll be buying these again.

TherocHi @Theroc,
I'm not sure if you have already, but please make sure to contact Support about these issues with your Firma-Flex Journals. We'll be sure to flag this as Franklin-Christoph is committed to the quality of their products, and this is something they would want to know about.
LizThanks Liz, but I do not intend to return the notebooks. I do like them, and the damage is not bad enough to warrant the hassle. However, as you said, I figured F-C would want to know about these issues.
