These are not the greatest switches in the world. But for the price and after a bit of hand lubing. These switches are the tried and true creamy switches.
I got these to build a CSTM65 and they’re so smooth and perfect sounding. They feel rather light to me, but that’s alright, just makes me feel like I’m typing quickly.
That these sound great in my SENSE75 but not so much my CSTM80. I originally bought these for the CSTM80 and was disappointed BUT after trying them in my SENSE75 I fell in love.
These are still arguably my go-to budget switches if you want a slightly deeper sound and they are a great weight. I put these in any board I don't have a clear vision for in terms of keycaps and switches. I do also really like the Gateron Smoothie switches which come in a little more expensive, but are also another great budget option if you're looking for a slightly louder, clackier switch.
For the price, you really can't go wrong with these, and they're cheap enough where you can be sure to have extras on-hand in case you need them.
The milky yellows are some of the best switches for the price. They are very smooth out of the box and the sound great. As with most factory lubed switches, redoing it yourself will make them even better, but they are still great without this extra step.
One thing to mention, it was a little hard for me to pull out the switch after installing. Maybe because it's 5 pin, so be careful. Other than that, one of my favorites in the collection.
