These are the smoothest linear keys I have ever tried. They make my keyboard sound thocky without any other modifications to the board. I actually smiled and was impressed when first trying them out. Happy I got a pack, will definitely get more for myself and for my friends. Note, these switches are not light friendly. Cost: I got these for $25, you could get these switches elsewhere for cheaper. I got these on drop for the convenience and free shipping (orders over $100) Shipping: It took a while to arrive about a month or so. The shipping packaging was slightly inefficient but protective. The package was too big for what only had these tiny switches. I think a 40% keyboard could have fit in the shipping box. The switches were wrapped in bubble warp and inside of another bubble wrap envelope. The switches themselves are neatly arranged in a protective plastic case. Great for storing the switches you might replace. Quality: Out of the whole batch only 1 had slightly different weight when pressed.

Great Stock Linear
These are some of the only switches on the market that I can recommend without lubing. The factory lube/grease on these is excellent, and provide for a smooth experience out of the box. These are a step up in price range from the famously great Gateron Milky Yellow Pro's but I think it's well worth it. I bought these from Drop only because they were on sale and were around $0.67 a switch and for the free shipping over $100. They are normally around this range though, so I probably would've just bought it from Divinikey if Drop did not lower their price. I looked online and some places have this switch listed as a 55g actuation 65g bottom out, but according to the Gateron product sheet, the KS-8 (Oil King) is indeed 55g actuation 80g bottom out. If you're worried that the 80g is going to make the switch feel too heavy, I would not worry since most have been reporting that the feel is closer to a 65g anyway (probably because the actuation is still 55g). With that being said though, it is definitely not a lighter switch. I can feel a drastic difference in bottom out weight since I used to have TTC Speed Silvers in the board I'm typing on now for this review. I personally like the feeling as it gives me more room on the downstroke when typing, but for people who only want a fast switch for gaming, it may be best to get a lighter switch. You could spring swap these but if you're going to open up all of your switches, you might as well lube at that point - which defeats the whole purpose of buying this switch. So if you don't plan on using these stock, I recommend just getting something else. Any RGB will also be very heavily muted (which I liked because it made my all black board even more stealthy) , but if you were planning on using RGB I would also avoid these unless you are okay with most of it being absorbed by the black in the switch. 5/5 convenient and great if you aren't a gamer looking for short actuation and RGB.

Stock Kings?
I have some points that I think you might be interested in. Stock: well, they are definitely great stock. I treated them the same as cherry picking Aqua Kings since they were some scratch masters in the mix. If you can afford to buy a few hundred to choose the very best from then you won't need to lube them. And then you can modify the others to meet a specific sound signature which I like to do (: When it come to stock Gateron's these are the most consistently lubed, smooth, and great stock sounding switches out of all the Gat's I've tried. Lubed, is weird for me. I feel like I get the sound I like with 106 oil instead of grease. I don't like slow, sticky linears.

My personal favorites are lubed and filmed Gateron Robin Custom switches. I love the thick, marble clacking I get from them. But stock is atrocious! Anyways, besides the scratchy outliers these are fantastic stock Gat's, I'd recommend buying a set or two but on a sale since you know, wallet pains (:

super smooth
These are very nice and lubed well from the factory. People taking them apart to lube them further are missing the point of buying them.

pretty good
I like that they don't need to be lubed if you don't want to. wouldn't spend more than 65c each though.

Its an improvement over lubed milky yellows
But thats about it. Thought there would be more lube/oil maybe I got a bad batch. Oh well time to lube properly. Kinda pingy/loud so I opened it up and didnt see much lube in the housing, not much on the stem and none on the spring. Not worth it for the price. Really only prefered for north facing non rgb cherry profile builds that need a 'cheap switch'.

Smooth and pillowy
My momoka frog v1s are failing at too significant a rate, so I decided to look into upgrading. To this end, I purchased both these oil kings (switch of the year, in some circles) and the moondrop linears currently here on Drop. I have DKC and a $5 credit, so I was able to score each 35-pack for about $16. At that price, they're both no-brainers. However, these oil kings feel a bit pillowy and like memory foam. If you've used the Aqua Kings, the sensation is quite similar. You won't get much RGB through these. Sound is quality, though. I was looking for a slightly less resilient switch, so ultimately the Moondrops won out. However, these are 5-star switches for someone looking for this type.

Smooth and quiet
The oil kings sound so pure straight out of the box and have no spring-ping at all. If talking in terms of making or breaking a board - these made my board.

Best, thocky switch
Without having to individually lube these myself, these are the best out of the box switches that money can buy - they're reasonably priced and can be installed onto any keyboard to give it a deep, bassy sound that makes typing that much more enjoyable. Stems show no signs of wobbling and are super stable.

Great out of the box.
You can tell it's lubed right when you first use it. Smooth, and feels really nice. If you're too lazy or tired of lubing switches, this is what you should get. One tidbit though is I had 3 switches feel overlubed. I suggest getting extra just in case.
