Community driven commerce my ass. I was lucky and bought a gtx 1070 for $329 at a good time and I am still pissed at these kind of price gauging practices, I honestly feel bad for PC gamers out there just trying to buy a decent GPU. FUCK YOU MASS DROP you are exploiting gamers and your community, the MSRP for this product is $249.
Joker123dc"Community driven" simply means we get to decide what items MD will attempt to make a deal on. It has nothing to do with you getting to demand a low price. In most cases, if demand is high, and supply is high, we get a great deal since the supplying vendor has ample stock and an almost guaranteed market with us. In other cases, when demand is universally high, and supply is low, the vendor has no reason to offer MD a lower price when they can still sell their merchandise at the market price.
For some reason, you blame MassDrop and offer zero proof of them being the problem at all.
Joker123dcMaybe do a little research before posting something so idiotic. Manufacturers have upped their price and Massdrop is selling them at that same price. So why don't you bitch at the real people who are price gouging consumers, the manufacturers.
solBLACKWhere the hell did you get the information that the manufacturers are raising prices? Im willing to bet your talking out of your ass. Reply with one link.
kauboyI gotcha and I understand that. From my perspective it just seems detestable for MD to sell a product hundreds above MSRP and sell it to you with a smile as a "deal" just hard for me to swallow.
Joker123dcThat's fair, and you can make that view known by not buying it. But don't blame MD when that might be the only price the vendor gives them. Nobody is in the business of losing money

Except of course that you completely ignore those of us who have been buying 1060 6 Gb cards from Gigabyte, Nvidia and other sites for far less than Massdrop is pricing them. So yes, Massdrop is very much to blame for attempting to pass off price gouging as some sort of deal.
johnukguyWow, you're quite the little peach, aren't you? Hounding two of my comments and pretending to know more than you do.
If you have proof, please share it. Before you do, you should learn what "anecdotal evidence" is, and why it's illegitimate to a general argument.
