It says "all metal construction" which makes me think that a metal surface or metal edge will touch my knife blades. If this is the case, what will keep it from scuffing my blades when I take them off or put them on the holder? There should be a polyethylene, nylon, wood, or laminate surface between my knives and any metal object they are going to be slapped up against, or slid off of.
Am I missing something? Is it really metal against metal?
