Hey guys,
I just received my navy blue baltora 65L backpack(size large) the other day and I'm afraid the size Large is a bit too big. I went to REI and tried on some bags and the large felt the best, but I didn't have any weight in it (I know, what was I thinking?). Upon receiving the backpack I loaded it up to maximum capacity so when i threw it on my back naturally with gravity and all, it's sitting a little lower so it touches just the upper part of my hips which is enough for it to rub uncomfortably as I walk. unless of course I pull the waist down about half an inch so it then hugs my hip bones, but I believe the targeted area is around your belly button.
Did anyone else have a similar experience? Also I thought it might be worth throwing out there that I would be willing to trade with someone who might have purchased a medium size 65L and needs a size large. Maybe we could get massdrop customer service involved to make it more official.
Thanks,
Jordan
CatWizard69I just ordered the Medium. Haven't had a chance to try it on yet just went with size shirt I usually wear. Im 6'2 so in the event the M is too small for me once I try it with weight on, I'd be happy to trade with you. Again, no promises as I haven't received it yet, but I was debating b/w the M & L for about 30 mins.
roddyjasaCool! When you get the bag fill it full and see how it fits with maximum weight. I would even recommend wearing it into a REI and having them make the decision for you -- if you have one near you. Thanks!
pjwinn@pjwinn I ended up going to REI to try on the large and to get an employees opinion. They said the large looked like the best fit so I ended up keeping the large.
