Grifiti wrist pads are crap! I have a fat 13" version and it is more wrinkled than old man balls after a day in the pool! Plus, mine still has that stinky chemical smell. I've since switched to Glorious PC Gaming Race pads and they are awesome. Attached is a pic of the two. The bottom is the crappy Grifiti and the top is the new Glorious pad:

RoDillaI love my smooth 17" Fat Wrist Pad, but it is 'smooth/skin' as yours is 'nylon', I believe. The smooth is not wrinkled at all. However, my (furniture painted) white table appears now a bit yellow under the wrist pad. While the chemical smell is gone now, it appears to have aged the paint. I wonder if Grifiti Wrist Pads are VOC-free or not? Hint: VOCs - or volatile organic compounds - are bad, and carcinogenic. I would suggest that all new Grifiti Wrist Pad owners air out their wrist pads until the chemical smell is completely gone (this might take weeks, however). Otherwise one risks the inhalation of VOCs and apparently, ones paint finishes.

RoDillaThis is exactly the reason I shied away from soft wrist rests, I imagined they wouldn't last be it sooner or later. I researched the web up and down, and the best bang for the buck wrist rest I could find was the KB Paradise in "grade B". Grade B means that two pieces of wood were used instead of one, and you can see where the two meet. However, the finish is exactly the same and you won't feel the "seam", and they are wood so they will outlast you if you take care of them. I got a small for 60% and a med for TKL, 29 bucks shipped each. No regrets. Google and you should find it in the first few results.
