I bought one of these about 2 months ago, based on a couple of recommendations from the Ducky Wristrest discussion. One corner of the top nylon layer is already peeling away from the neoprene body. But I still like it a lot, so I'm ordering a bunch more in this drop, to stockpile as replacements. Hooray for fashion colors, but black would be nice too!
Grifiti calls their 0.75 inch thick versions "Fat Wrist Pads". MD should add a photo from a side perspective to show that it comes up to the top of a typical keyboard chassis. Supporting the wrist at that height means keeping the wrist much closer to neutral instead of bending it backwards, really relieves soreness and cramping while typing, not merely as a comfortable surface to pause on.
The neoprene is a nice firmness and I love plopping my elbows on it while eating or reading or poking at the phone. I used to use gel pads, but they've all started oozing or deforming when the outer layer eventually gets enough wear. The Grifiti seems pretty durable so far, aside from the nylon coming apart. Even if the top layer came off completely, I imagine the base is still functional as a rest, but more difficult to clean and somewhat less comfortable (nylon smoother against skin, neoprene more grippy).
