I was hoping this might be something unusual on the inside, like maybe what Noodler does with the Ahab, a syringe type piston fill. But I am pretty sure this is just a misdescribed Schmidt converter. Making this another pen with a Bock generic steel nib shared by dozens of other models, the Schmidt converter assembly I have in a dozen other pens, and a fancy exterior that someone thinks justifies $200 (or "$345"!) worth of price. I'd rather have an Aurora; at least their nibs are their own and interesting to write with...

Rosebud41Nothing to say. Everyone have is own taste and if you dislike German quality of these nibs I understand: You are right a lot of pen companies as Montegrappa, Omas, Visconti, nowaday use these Schmidt nibs while Aurora is one of the few still produce their own nibs in thw whole Europe. May be Aurora are bestest one but I was born and grown up in the same hometown of Aurora brand (Settimo Torinese near Turin city) and let me say that in my life, before, and then in my 25 years long activity producing pens, I meet their nibs many time, yes they are really nice but not sure they are so higher in quality. Best regards!Maurizio
