I ordered the 100% ebony wristrest in the January drop. It came in mid-May with three noticeable imperfections. - 9mm indented scratch on the top surface just below the numpad position, which is partially chipped - 5mm chip on the bottom edge - 2mm chip on the right side (top edge) As much as I would have liked to exchange the unit, I felt my chances of getting a flawless piece was probably too slim to attempt going through the process and waiting who knows how long.
Anyways, I've been using the wristrest for 25 days now, and have to say that the wristrest is functionally very nice but the appearance has changed. The finish is darkening where my palms sit and some areas have become more rough than others. The discoloration doesn't really bother me, but for the price I expected better QC on the imperfections, especially the big 9mm scratch on the top surface. The price needs to come down another $10 for me to recommend it to anyone. It's a 7/10 from me.
