Bought a pair of these clips and they proved to be very useful when out and about, keeping my backpack or groceries off the floor. It is a little long when fully extended, thus a backpack may still touch the floor when hanging off a shorter structure.
Bought mostly to keep backpacks off dirty floors in shops and restaurants. Clip is well built and I imagine versatile when outdoors or in garages.
A couple things to keep in mind: When deployed the clip is quite long (7inches), so when hanging from a table to grab handle the backpack often still hits the floor. Another hanger I use that has a lower profile doesn't have this issue, though being thick and plastic i don't think it's quite as versatile. Secondly the clip is just big and edgy enough to require attention when feeding through laser cut molle (to hang the bag sideways). Last, I think the plastic notch would work to hang stuff from little corners or indentations where a flat clip wouldn't wouldn't work, but I haven't had the chance to do that yet.
Would recommend? Yeah but think about the length.
