Who actually even uses Balanced 3.5mm? It seems like some company wanted to be different so they made that. Is 2.5 and 4.4 not good enough for them or what?

For Bluetooth, I'm assuming the DAC receives audio input from USB-C? Is this Windows only or should it work over Android phones as well?

Bluetooth connections should be platform independent, as long as your device has Bluetooth.
