is it normal for knifes like this to be sent out blunted / not sharp?

clayfigI guess some of the knifes sent out are not sharpened, I saw some reviews on amazon for some knifes and some people don't have sharpened knifes. But mine was really sharp.

clayfigI bought a K Bar from massdrop that was not sharpened. However when I bought the regular version of this blade it came very sharp.
