Don't order this if you're not willing to wait 120+ days. Oh and if there are multiple delays, and they offer you the option to cancel, just do it. Because over a month prior to actually delivering this to your doorstep, they will mark it shipped and you'll have no recourse. This is what happened with the ID80. I tried to cancel via support after having a shipping label with no movement for 30+ days, then it shows up 3 business days later. Wonder how long I'd have waited if I didn't contact them.
Massdrop just becoming the US equivalent of kprepublic at this point.
Can't really complain too much though, cheaper, most likely better customer service
Well compare to kprepublic, you can say it has better customer service. Drop can have messy manufacturing and delivery, but at least they try to solve it while kprepulic shipping and service are both not good.
DroppyMacDropfaceThe PCB does have ISO support, it would just be a matter of finding a case for the PCB. Though at that point you can find the YMD75 kit which does have an ISO layout plate and pretty much the same PCB.
I got this in last week or so, I just finished up soldering the switches in, but I cannot figure out how to get into dfu mode, I tried common key combinations like fn + esc (both while powered and while plugging in). Esc, space, space + b while plugging in. Anyone know how to get into dfu mode for this board.
Edit: My board ended up being to hold left control while plugging in the board.
s8n2kyea all you need is switches and keycaps. The plate is built in with the top part of the case and the pcb is included but you need to solder switches so it's not a hotswap pcb
So, I flashed this guy with Ymd75 Rev 2 and I'm having some issues with it. For some reason, post update, i'm getting some hanging on the "a" and "r" key, they randomly on press decide to hold down the key. Also, noticed that the board only has a 6 key rollover? Anyone got any ideas?
Just a quick note, the "A" key is missing the left hole for PCB mount keycaps. You'll have to cut one of the plastic pins off your caps for that one. You can see it in the photos, so it's not just my board.
