what are the keys for changing rgb settings?
julimgI'd like to know this info too. I'd settle for the key commands to turn the brightness down to zero.
julimgSo it turns out you have to flash the keyboard with the hex file containing the full factory feature set yourself. After that you can change the RGB settings.

Bought this direct from Idobao’s website when I just started in the hobby. This thing has an integrated plate so any switch you put on it will sound the same.. It has a very hollow sound and using foam won’t do much. The cutouts for the stabilizer are very small. I used durock v2 and they wouldn’t fix so I had to file down the stabs. A slow and painstaking process. There are a lot better options out there, look elsewhere.

$200 seems a little steep given the competing products

Where are the updated QMK and VIA hex files that have all the LEDs enabled?

It is possible to change the underglow / back LED colour from red to any other? This is my first custom and I am struggling to find the answer.

I just read about a crystal version of this board - just like the ID80 that's currently for sale on Drop, but TKL. I wonder if Drop will get that version at some point, or a kit version.

I just received this and it does NOT have the fix (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIJReLyixBA) that allows you to fit stabilisers such as the durock v2!

It's cheaper at the official idobao website lol. The board is generally really hollow so for the price I would recommend the GMMK Pro.

DevenKnot hollow at all, they have foam installed it in already and with silent switches this is a really quiet board

Don't you think it'll sound hollow if there is no foam included like in the IDOBAO ID67?

Somewhat. It depends on how thick you pour it. I did it on my son's Tofu 60 acrylic case and it came out nice but that is frosted (not fully translucent). Still, if you're careful and tape things off well, DIY silicone dampening comes out very nice.

NotZestythere is foam included in the one i purchased directly from them
I feel like with Glorious GMMK Pro being $170 all the TKL over that price are really hard to recommend unless you really need a red, or purple board. If this was before GMMK Pro this would be great.

You're completely right about the foam. The integrated plate is stable and rigid but the sound is very loud and hollow without something to manage it. The ID80 has a similar design and the same issue. It's manageable with foam or similar, but the extra work is something to consider when making a decision for sure. That said, this isn't a bad choice. It looks good and will probably behave itself. I've been happy with the ID80 and this is a good price for what it is and if you want to build and tinker with a board it's a decent option.

Andy_WhoTotally agree with this comment, I've had the ID87 and it sounds really hollow. Whereas GMK Pro with the right tuning can sound great.
