wickettOSS refers to a safety razor that has a dual head, one side "open" and the other with a standard bar. It's a term coined by iKon. Here's an informative article: https://www.bruceonshaving.com/2010/09/22/how-ikon-razors-got-started/ Personally, I like their handles but prefer the offerings from Above The Tie much more. From my experience and what I've read, ATT is one of the best. But every face is different and you might get along really well with the iKon. I bought an iKon, used it a few times and sold it. Here's an article worth your time: https://www.baldingbeards.com/best-safety-razor/ I tried the Merkur and still like the ATT offerings more. But that's just what my face/beard like. Also, this article is only about a few 2019 offerings. It doesn't go into what is beyond this list that is excellent. Here's a review of Above The Tie: https://bestmensshaver.com/above-the-tie-razor-review/ That's the neat thing about safety razors, it's a fun journey. Good luck.

cornerstonetomThis looks very similar to the merkur 34c short handle or the merkur 23c long handle I bought at https://www.theguysshavingclub.com/safety-razor-review/ a couple years ago. I prefer the closed comb since I don't sport a long beard to need the open comb option. My most recent purchase is a new single blade razor called OneBlade that has been a close rival and has me thinking about putting down my old faithful long handle merkur.

ericdellis17There are a few interesting options! One thing to keep in mind with that link is that is an affiliate link to Amazon. That's how TGSC makes money. Above The Tie sells direct and TGSC doesn't make any money by mentioning them. They are worth checking out: https://www.abovethetie.com/ Thanks for bringing TGSC to my awareness.
