djnadenJBL is an international company with dedicated vendors in every area. In certain locales, i.e. Europe, there is a VAT (Value Added Tax) on all pro audio and musical instruments and accessories. That tax is about a 100% markup which the retailer in those countries pays upfront and passes on to the consumer. JBL has a policy of not having US companies sell to those locations as to not interfere with, nor diminish the markets in said areas. We enjoy a wonderful relationship with JBL, who makes great products and is an industry innovator, so we do respect their wishes in this matter.
Hopefully that answers your question.
