IcefalkonDifferent emitter + different UI + different length = different light. A lot of the Chinese light manufacturers release lights that look very similar. Call them knock-offs if you want. I prefer calling them competitors. There are probably a dozen of these USB 18650 "tube" lights available from various manufacturers that all look similar but are different in various ways.

wordfoolSure, it's then about reliability, build quality, and customer support in my opinion. I would always go with the trusted manufacturer who stands by their product 100% before just dropping money on an EDC item from a competitor/knock off.

IcefalkonJetbeam is a pretty well regarded flashlight manufacturer that's been around as long as Fenix (at least in the US market). I'd call them about equal in terms of reliability and build quality. The level of customer support is dependent on the US dealer, not the manufacturer, but I've never had a Fenix or Jetbeam light fail so I haven't needed any support. YMMV.

IcefalkonI have a Fenix and that was my first reaction. Thanks for the link and heads-up to unsuspecting buyers. Well done my man.

BoxBladeThanks BB...I've been doing some research on the Jetbeam and it's reviews are certainly not what the reviews on any of the Fenix are. 99% of the reviews I've read, and it's easy..just do a jetbeam vs fenix google search...have been by EDC users who have both lights and are making educated comparisons. That being said, buy what you can afford.
