Is the crystal domed like the watches? That would be awesome. But it doesn't look like it from the photos. I joined the drop anyway. I own the max bill chronoscope and this would look perfect on the wall near my computer at work.
foureight84oh, that’s an interesting option. It’s a pity that the branding is so prominent. I wish They would keep all of that as a sticker on the back not printed on the face.
So I was at a shop lately and I noticed that they had a quartz wall clock, but it had a sweeping hand--I know this is only possible for a few watches, but how common is this for wall clocks?
CalvinLPretty common and Chinese made movements are only a few dollars from the usual scumbags. The movement dimensions are pretty standard so if you've got a modern wall clock that ticks and want to convert it to a sweeping second hand, chances are you can.
On a more serious note--while these wall clocks are pretty attractive, price-wise they leave a lot to be desired. If you like their highbrow looks, but are currently hampered by a workingman's budget, don't despair. IKEA has a good selection of dirt-cheap wall clocks with similar designs. Google 'em up --you'll be pleasantly surprised and you'll save about $250 for your efforts.
I've kind of been eyeing this clock on other websites like amazon and it was always $400. So I think this is a good deal if you are into the look of this.
