...so I spent YEARS using CherryMX Silver Speeds on a non-hotswappable board. (Remember those days? lol) I, basically, assume that CherryMX is just "more scratch" across most of their switches. (I consider myself novice-intermediate to intermediate level knowledge in the keyboard world.) I have a switch tester with a "small assortment" that makes up the "entire industry" of switches. For that reason, I've been trying to build "my spectrum" and collection by making/picking contrasted choices. In any case, I mostly (generally) avoid going down "this" road when there are so many switches (potential) out there. All this is written as an "almost" pre-text to say that I remember find Kailh Gold and Copper to be "interesting" on the switch tester that I have.
I'm sure these are "pretty darn good", albeit having never used these Kailh Silver Speeds on a board.
(*I mostly don't edit these writings unless the context picks up the "heat" or the "speed". Pardon the butchery.)
