The chest sizes vary on the two size charts, which one is correct, one looks to be too small in any size, the other looks like I would only need an XL or 2XL

warriorscotOne chart is for body measurements and the other is for garment measurements. The differences in the two are what keep the jacket from being skin tight. If you are using your own body measurements to determine your size you should use the chart on the left; if you are measuring a jacket you own you should use the one on the right.
