Initial impression- this is a very well made flask. It’s super light (as titanium tends to be), but it seems to be incredibly sturdy. I love the design- the profile is thin enough to be unobtrusive (I can carry it in my jacket or pants pockets completely undetected), the branding is subtle (and imho lends to the minimalist aesthetic), and the offset spout placement is ideal. KT says it holds 4.1 oz, which is accurate- I filled it with water to the top of the spout and was able to fill four shot glasses with a touch extra (so, functionally 4 oz, with the spout as the extra .1 oz).
I haven’t had issues filling it using the spout, as I’ve filled it very slowly. Im accepting the narrow spout size as a trade off for how thin the body is. Occasionally I will get air bubbles that will stop the flow while pouring, but shaking the flask takes care of it (and honestly, my other flasks will occasionally have the same issue).
The cap is small and could be lost since it isn’t captive, but i haven’t had an issue yet. I usually put it in my pocket after taking it off and put it right back on after using it. There aren’t very many threads, but the seal is great and I haven’t had any leakage.
As for capacity- 4oz is great for me. If I’m carrying a flask, Im usually at an event where there’s already drinks, and I’m using this to top off my glass. Also, I’ve had zero transfer of taste due to the titanium. Additionally, even though I drink the contents the same evening or within a day of filling it, I like knowing I could leave a drink in it indefinitely and have no adverse effects on the booze or flask.
In conclusion, this is a great little flask. Though i have nicer flasks made of pewter (that I usually only use at nice events), this has become my go to for most places. It’s been great for Everything from fishing to a dinner at a private club, and has shown zero wear in the short time I’ve had it. I’ve told people that my future grandkids will inherit my collection of pewter flasks, but they’ll inherit this one in the same condition as the day I got it. It’s a bargain at the price MD has been offering it at, and I see no reason to pay many times more from competitors.

I wound up purchasing a larger standard sized Ti flask while waiting for this one and thought I would probably not use this smaller Keith flask favoring more volume. When it arrived I realized how small it really was and looked up the volume on Massdrop then immediately looked up the TSA maximum liquid volume and instantly fell in love. I brought it right through TSA on my way to DC this morning. I need at least two more of these at Massdrop prices so please bring on another drop before my trip to Spain! It's ridiculously light when empty and I read somewhere that Ti can hold liquor longer without imposing a taste on the booze. At this point I can't see myself going back to SS. I don't really care that the lid isn't attached personally. The threads could definitely use some work but as long as I can drink from it and it doesn't leak in my pocket then I don't really care.

oedo808Love the size and look on this little flask. But for me it's a dealbreaker that the cap is not secured. I'm hoping for an upgrade. But, I'm on the edge buying it, cause it's a sweet deal for sure.

ThomasAasenLosing the cap would be a tragedy. I feel like they could have added a little hinge holder like on other flasks pretty easy and it would make this even better. I wound up buying 3 more to bring on plane trips, and I find myself using this more frequent than my other flasks because it fits in my carpenter jean pockets.

Overall good for a jaunt up a mountain. Used it 3x without a mishap... Pros: Light, enough for a toast and not a tumble, doesn't retain a smell or flavor of previously stored concoction. Cons: Threads on cap are sketchy 2-3 needs to be 5 at least... worry its going to leak or strip but has not... I had a silicone membrane around about 3 mils which I cut out a circle and put it up the cap and seems more secure and lets me know my single malt medication will be there when I need it, ha. Note: NOT knocking it for the ridiculous pour / intake hole because I like that its slim. Funnel again at least it has one included. I squeeze the flask a little and pour squeeze to air gap it and works ok... Price: its titanium and figure I'm always going to add at least 1 or more zeros to it. Sure as hell better than plastic... Update: 1/9/2019 Had a leak now I wrap with parafilm or silicon tape. seem to hold much better and for the real good stuff I wrap length wise as well.

BrookscaOh, I wish they upgraded the quality on this flask. There should be no leak at all. And it should be a pleasure to screw on and of the cap. For me, a larger opening and a safety cap would be nice. Also two size options would be great, this and a larger version. I sure like the design, clean and nice. So if all this could be done, I gladly pay little extra.

Lightweight, no leaks. I would agree that the threads could be "dressed up" some. If they were finer, I' be concerned about cross threading. Large enough to get you down the road, but you're not going to get "smashed" on what you bring. I'm thinking through a means to connect the top to the flask. I do fear losing the top at some point. For the money, it can't be beat. Try doing some comparison shopping and you'll see similar flasks priced 2 or even 3 times as much.

robiconYeah, as I mentioned to another reviewer, it would be perfect with the cap attached so it won't get away. If that, it's a 10 of 10. Just a great size with a clean and comfortable design. I sure hope they will upgrade it with a safety cap.

Whoever designed this thing didn’t understand fluid dynamics. The opening is far to small, making it far more difficult than it should be to fill as well as drink out of. Any person who drinks out of this thing would recognize this... did they not test the design before going to market?

eugeasaurIf you drink out of it sideways (so the flask is parallel to the ground) it works pretty well

eugeasaurFor me, it's important with a larger opening. It has to feel comfortable to drink and fill. Also a safety cap would do it. Wish you could get it in two sizes, this and a larger one. I really like the clean look of this flask, a nice design. So, if upgraded in quality and what's mentioned, I sure would buy one or two. And I gladly pay little extras too.

Always spills when you pour out. It looks nice, but flammable 151 proof liquids and cigars don't mix. The Keith website says 120ml the listing says 100ml. It is a bit small, and the hole needs to get bigger. Also the threads are of poor quality, bad tolerances and the threads where rushed. I know Ti01 can be pricey and I did the math on what the margins are. Up the price, make the damn thing bigger, when making the threads slow down, place a notch on the spout of the funnel to let air out. I will say one good thing about this, it's not made out of toxic aluminum which needs to be coated.

PennyPincherOh, thanks for sharing your thoughts. I also like larger holes, for drinking and filling. Would also like a safety cap, so it won't disappear. And for sure the quality and upgrades you mentioned would be great. I really like the simple and clean look. So with all these upgrades, I gladly pay some extra for the "perfect" flask, thankyou.

It's cool looking and lightweight. I like the form factor and how it feels in my hand. But I have two gripes: 1) it holds less than I expected (my fault, I guess, but it's a gripe); and, 2) the opening is very small, so small that it takes effort to get out the liquid, so small that the filler funnel is too tight to easily pour liquid into it, and so small that it takes forever to dry out inside.

Had it for a couple weeks now, and the build quality and finish is solid. Funnel is of course a nice addition, but if you can manage to get your hands on some pour spouts (metal-tipped) for liquor bottles those will make flask filling hassle free. No funnel required since the flask's opening is wider than the metal spout's tip.

Great little flask, perfect size in my opinion. Does not leak whatsoever, I saw the other review and immediately filled it with water and started flinging it around; nothing, not a drop. my favorite part, I leave drinks in there for weeks at a time. No problem whatsoever.

Quality seems quite good, nice finish. The little funnel works OK. Pouring is a bit messy due to the small diameter outlet. But sipping whisky works good enough for my taste... A great addition would be a way to attach the cap to the body. The cap is very small and the thread is not super-smooth, so I am a bit worried of loosing the cap. A little handle on top or the side of the cap and the body would allow to attach a wire...problem solved.

FEW.PROUD.MERCENARIESThat would be perfect, to have the cork safe. I love the look and simplicity of this beautiful bottle, but as you said, the security of not losing the cap is for me a downside, sadly. I sure hope they'll upgrade it at one point. Good tip though, thanks.
