I have the s30v version (had the non s30v ages ago and the tip broke) highly recommend the s30v version! Its a recurve blade so you will need a diamond sharpening stone or diamond sharpening rod. For the stone you will want to sharpen the blade on the edge of the stone. I think the spiderco sharp maker will work also but I've not tried it yet.
Price is decent for this drop, but other places will have much faster shipping for around the same price give or take.

anonomousThis drop states it is S30V, but more expensive than the last S30V MD.

anonomousI previously said that the blue S30V drop was $59.99 - this one is $74.99, if enough participate it is $69.99 (and it doesn't look like they will).

PNWNative$59.99 is amazing, I got mine from knife center iirc for 70 shipped. Its worth every Penny. Its worth it at $85 still. You can't find a GOOD s30v blade better for cheaper than $85.

PNWNativeAgree with you. The Massdrop exclusive blue blackwashed S30V seems to be the better value over this knife, as it is only available from Massdrop and the blackwashed blade itself normally cost extra over the plain stonewashed blade. I've even seen a NIB blue blackwashed changing hand for around 80 bucks in the knife forum, giving the original owner a small but handsome profit.

DmitryNIts no where as good as a Kershaw blur. The quality of the buck knife is terrible. So go fish. Keep looking, you won't find it.
