My label came like this as well, however I don't see the "WM" logo on the knife. How do I check what type of steel is being used on this knife?

cookiesownsIf it says 8100 instead of 8100WM then its the steel listed in the description.

ForrestJohnsonInteresting. Well the knife is extremely dull coming from factory so I'm a bit concerned.

cookiesownsReally? My friend gave me one of her 8100s and its pretty sharp, Contact massdrop and see if they will give you a 5$ refund then use that money to send it to kershaw for sharpening http://kershaw.kaiusaltd.com/warranty.

dalethornYup. Good version, super dull. Can't even cut the massdrop tapes without exerting decent force. Running knife over my skin = dullness too. ( I know my share of sharp knives )
I guess I'll contact massdrop support.
