For those who, like me, are losing sleep over the meaning of "CKT", it seems it stems from this black version originally being a custom order by "Chesapeake Knife and Tool". I had thought they only used the CKT suffix for DLC coated knives and that it had some meaning related to the DLC PVD process, and BLK only for black-oxide, but it seems there are black-oxide knives named CKT and DLC knives named BLK. Dear me! Now I'll lose sleep over this arbitrary inconsistency, instead. Did I mention I have OCD? Because this post needs more three-letter acronyms.
