I'm very interested in this, but I'm a bit concerned about customs (I'm in Canada). Can anyone comment on experience with knives from Massdrop shipping to Canada?

JekotiaIt should be fine. I got the Chive from MD fine, and the general consensus is that AO knives are fine in Canada.

JekotiaIt took it an extra week or two, but other than that I had no problems with my shipping to Canada

JekotiaNo issues going into Canada with Shipping, I've got a Kershaw from another Drop, these knives are also for sale at retail stores in Canada as well (Cabelas, Army Surplus....) so as of Today (31/12/14) they are legal, but I'm sure they will be outlawed when they gain more popularity and "Concerned Citizens" get scared.

bhaighNo issues on several knives to Canada. And this one is the perfect everyday carry...

ijprestI agree, as do I, but Assisted Opening Knives are illegal, the torsion bar is currently a work around of the laws, once they gain popularity they will be outlawed.

bhaighWell, the law explicitly states that torsion bar knives are fully legal. I'd have to say Kershaw's Speedsafe bends it a little, but there's an exception written into the law specifically for knives where you still have to apply pressure to a stud or extrusion on the blade.
