I had never tried a KeySmart before, but I don't know if I can ever go back to loose keys. It holds less keys than I thought it would without the extender, but worked for how many I have at the moment. The best part about the Tile feature on this is that it's rechargeable! (Most aren't and that is why I never planned to buy one) I also like that it has a flashlight built in because it is one less thing I have to hang on a key ring. Would highly recommend this for anyone tired of keys jingling in their pocket.

Awesome Product
Keysmart makes so many great products and I have many of them. This just adds to my collection. It will allow me to add and use CleanKey more readily. Keysmart products are awesome. Kudos to DROP and Ascendia as shipping was fast even if delayed. It is like Christmas around my house today. Now to charge and add items to my Keysmart once it is done charging. Awesome tool. I have bought the spacers screws, connector and bottle opener so need to add. Highly recommended for your important keys and CleanKey.

Good keyfob. Not metal, it is plastic, but otherwise it is what it advertises to be
I actually wasn't expecting a metal piece, even though it had it in the description, as I knew the body would be machined at this price and still have all the electronics built in. The feature that leaves the LED light on for 3-5 seconds while you fumble with something is great, allowing me to pick the RIGHT key without holding onto the light button. Pretty slick. The Tile feature is great, as i already had a Tile fob, and just replaced it with this little rechargeable thing. All in all, a good key-fob. It will not take abuse like metal or Carbon Fiber will, but it wont scratch as many things in your pocket either. If you carry a nice knife, or other high-end objects as your EDC pieces, this plastic piece will not be doing the scratching. I can find my keys with my phone, ot find my phone with my keys. it is nice. The little light that shines exactly on the keyhole, and doesn't require constant holding for short bursts, super cool. it doesn't have long stacking pillars, so if you are a janitor, this might not hold all your keys. For most people, this will hold 8 or 10 regular sized keys like door keys, mailbox keys, and the like. Overall, it isn't metal, so it might have some durability issues, but the plus is that it won't scratch up your CF handled pocket knife or wear the anodizing off of your Ti prybar. It gets an LED light that shines nicely and has smart features, a USB port for charging, and a built-in Tile transceiver. Whether you like Tile or not is a direct indicator of that last item's value. The plastic housing has been plenty durable in my 2 or so months of use so far. I haven't had to recharge since I first charged it, and it fits nicely in all my pockets. Keys can be a little difficult to get out if they are the small mailbox kind. TL:DR - good enough if you don't care about the plastic housing and rather thick central section. The LED light and TILE features easily outweigh the bad if either or both of those is your main interest. Don't go looking for tank-like durability, but for light EDC tasks and carry, this is great.

Love It!
I was using a leather key holder which was nice but this is so much better! I have 3 keys on one side and 1 key, bottle opener (that came with it) and 2 gym memberships on the other side. I love the tracking feature. I don't lose my keys very often but this helps when I do. Feels very secure, small sleek package. The light is an added bonus, I used to keep the Streamlight Key Mate on my keys but don't need it anymore. The light isn't bright but its enough to help you find a keyhole.

1) it's PLASTIC...breaks easily. 2) Concept sounds good, but quickly you'll discover it's not that functional. Retrieving the keys can be a challenge. 3) previously I had a leather version of this, without the built in Tile, which was more practical. 2 stars for concept.

Bulkier than the titanium version, and the plastic feels a bit flimsy. If they can integrate tile into a titanium version it'd be awesome.

Great concept. I’m giving a 2 because a few features still need to be proven. I love the tile addition, the LED and that it’s rechargeable. I’m very disappointed it’s plastic and there’s no way to check the charge. Things you need to know: The more keys you add the more frustrating it becomes to put together (and find a safe place to store those washers); It’s better suited for smaller keys. A masterlock key on each end will be tip to tip, longer keys will overlap. Not a huge deal but it means you now have to deploy a key from its specific side unless you don’t mind unfolding them out and back in to get the one; You have to add the bottle opener if you intend to attach a clip or lanyard; Did I mention it’s plastic....

Edit: I am lowering my review from 5 to 1 star because how shitty the build quality is. The end with the flashlight started to fall apart after 5-6 months of use. I am relative careful with it so I doubt it is due to my misuse. It is currently extremely hideous and I wouldn't recommend any a "keychain" that will fall apart before half a year.

I originally bought this because smart keychain was a stupid enough that I wanted to try how it will effect me, but more on the smart features later. After i spent all my life using key chains this form factor is a revelation. I seriously didn't think I could carry all my keys in such a compact manner. Fitting the keys in is a bit painful after 4 keys since both screw ends are a bit short, but you get learn how to do it well pretty after few failed tries. The tile feature currently doesn't work well with my shitty xiaomi phone since the battery manager keeps killing the process, so I can't comment on how well this works on a phone with a proper os. There is also the (non?) issue of Tile Premium, although the normal services are free to use and I think they are all the features that you need, some premium features require a subscription and I thought after paying over 45 dollars for a keychain I would get a complete product. (Oh and I don't know how I feel about having my gps position tracked 24/7 which google does already anyway) This is a minor issue but the bottle opener is a really stupid idea since the bottle opener is free and pretty short so you can't properly apply force without it slipping. It works on some bottles but takes me few tries on some because it keeps slipping. Considering everything, I would 100% recommend the non-smart version. And recommend this one if you lose your keys all the time, or if you want the novelty of having a smart keychain.

Meh
It's fine, the battery has to be charged twice a month, the Three month claim is so bogus. It's plastic, the flashlight is useless, and getting the tension for the keys right is a complete pain in the ass. Would not buy another.
