For those who might having the same bluetooth connection issue just like me. Hold the Fn - q/w/e .Then on your laptop Bluetooth setting, click Connect, type the code that shown up plus `ENTER`. Then click `connect`.
OK, so I bought this keyboard, but was waiting for my Pulse keycaps to really get it up and running. It's great, and now the keycaps have arrived it looks great too. My only issue so far is that I use a Mac, so I need to swap the [WIN] and [ALT] keys on the left of the spacebar.
MacOS lets you do this pretty easily, but it only works with the keyboard plugged in, not when being used wirelessly. The Mac seems to have problems recognising the keyboard outside of the Bluetooth Preference pane, meaning it works wirelessly, but I can't use the Keyboard preferences to specifically target it as a bluetooth keyboard and swap the keys.
I guess I have two main options...
The keyboard handles it. Reprogram the keyboard itself at the firmware level to swap those keys. Sounds easy enough for most keyboards but this one has little to no documentation and I can't find any software I can use to do this on my Mac.
The Mac handles it. Get the Mac to properly recognise the keyboard so it appears as an option in the 'Modifier Keys' options in the Keyboards preference pane and I can swap the keys in MacOS.
...any ideas...? Which option would be best, and is either option actually possible...?
It would appear as though I lost my "FN" key...FN+up arrow does not turn on my keyboard lights. Does not pair with BT. I don't think it does anything. I have the software to reprogram the keyboard from GitHub but the FN key, from what I understand, is not reprogrammable
Anyone else have this problem/solution?
So, the Fn key seems to not work on mine. Fn+1 only results in 1 being input instead of F1, I can't properly enter pairing mode, turn off or at least turn down the backlight. Every other key seems to be ok, the LED on the Fn key works fine, but without the Fn functionality the boards is effectively useless to me.
I’m using it via wire, I dont know how to check what is the battery condition. When I plug the wire out and turn Bluetooth switch on, nothing shows even the LED indicator, maybe out of battery but it should charge when I’m plug in using wire right?
